Aside from taping episodes for her upcoming romantic series Got to Believe, Kathryn Bernardo said she is also busy focusing on her studies as a Marketing major freshman at Enderun Colleges. “Ayun, malapit na yung midterms namin! Supernag-e-enjoy po ako,” she shared.

The 17-year-old actress said she enjoys being treated like a regular student whenever she is in school. Kilala yung school for culinary but they also offer marketing and then yun ang kinukuha kong course,” she said.

Kath said there is definitely no celebrity treatment on their campus. “Parang no naman. Parang wala namang ganun. Nagiging normal college girl ako,” she shared.

Despite her hectic work schedule, Kath said she still wants to prioritize her studies after putting them on hold for Princess and I. “Kinakaya ko pa naman siya. Basta pag Tuesdays after ng morning classko puwede na akong dumiretso from work and then pag Saturdays as in blocked off for my school lang the whole day. Wini-work out naman with production yung schedule so okay lahat sila tumutulong para mapagsabay ko yung school ko with my work. Kinakaya ko pa naman siya ngayon,” she said.

Even though she does not get to go out as much, Kath said she is happy to be pursuing her studies again. She says going on “gimiks” have to take a backseat for now. “Wala na eh, actually M-W-F sched yun for my taping and then yung iba dun Tuesday or Thursday for my shooting for Pagpag (her upcoming MMFF horror film with Daniel Padilla under Star Cinema) then Saturday sa school ako tapos Sundays naman ASAP so wala ng time talaga, she explained.

When it comes to her finances, Kath said she is lucky to always have her mom Min Bernardo by her side to put aside her earnings for her education and future investments. Yung pag you work hard for it, may reward ka, ganyan.
